I'm with you Suzanne. I don't care which tool works, as long as relief is felt. On the other hand, it's always nice when something works so fast or so independently of anything else that I can point to it and say "that worked!".

Yes, letting go of emotional issues are almost always a good thing to explore, really with any type of pain almost.

I have heard great things about acupuncture ..... and it's one of those things I don't think I'll ever do personally. Glad it helped you.

I've also been dealing with elbow pain and although I can relate some of the cause to inflexibility at the time it started, I have since been able to find a certain degree of relief by letting go of the issue that was causing me grief. At the same time, I resorted to acupuncture - six sessions and the pain was almost completely gone.

Visualization of white light throughout my body may also provide some help. It can't hurt. Not sure which of these tools worked, but I don't really care, the pain's practically gone.

I don't know for sure what Louise Hay says about neck pain but in my own experience it's usually about being a pain in the neck through rigid belief systems, someone else being a pain in the neck or can also be about "sticking your neck out" as in taking unnecessary risks or being afraid to take risks.
