Is there going to be a new kind of dollar soon?

I don’t know how to make that sound like the song I’m thinking of……maybe

I got an email referencing a youtube video on the subject of a proposed merge between the United States, Canada and Mexico. I’m wondering about this….what would it mean? How would this change things here, in Canada and especially in Mexico. What do you think?
Here’s what I got:
This is all being done (u.s. dollar de-valuing) to prepare u.s. citizens to GLADLY turn in their “soon-to-be”……near “worthless” “federal reserve notes” (u.s. dollars) for the new currency: the “Amero” dollar used in the unification/merging three nations (Canada, U.S., & Mexico) into one nation (the “North American Union”) w/one currency. i.e. to compete w/ the “European Union” – their “Euro”-dollar.
I’ve had a strong interest in alternative currency for some time now and have been researching places like Lawrence, Kansas where it already exists and is working for the local economy. I don’t know if the Amero dollar is something real or a myth floating around the internet … if you have input one way or the other, please share.
Of course, alternative currency is creating it’s own type of structure and, unfortunately, some of it feels a little too much like the current money paradigm for my taste. learn more about alternative currency values
