Precautions to consider when taking Blessed Thistle, to rule out prescription drug interactions (not presented as complete but partial list):
Blessed thistle can interfere with the action of drugs including Nexium, Prevacid, Prilosec, Tagamet, Pepsid, Axid and Zantac. If you are on any of these drugs, please check with your doctor before taking products with blessed thistle in them.
You should also check with your doctor before taking blessed thistle or consuming products that contain it, if you are on Plavix, Coumadin or other blood thinners and if you take NSAID’s including Aleve, Motrin, Advil or Motrin.
