Just added some new info on air freshener safety.
When I was growing up, I just thought I didn’t like the smell of air fresheners, carpet cleaners, scented candles, etc. Turns out, I may have had sound reason to avoid the chemical-laden fresheners everyone was using, and so many are still using.
Those air fresheners that people spray all over their homes – I simply never have believe d they are healthy to breathe. Quite frankly, they all smell toxic to me and create allergic reactions quickly, including burning eyes, itchy throat, sneezing or cough.
I’m like the canary in the coalmine with smell. I can tell when milk is about to go bad, or bread is just beginning to think about molding….and mold? I can smell mold in even minute amounts in a house.
