3. Maintain good cholesterol levels

4. Take care of their blood pressure to keep it in a normal range
5. Exercise regularly – even a moderate walking program can be effective. If you don’t have a good place to walk, map out a walking track thru your house or go to a mall and walk there. I’ve even walked at Walmart before, when weather was bad or I didn’t have a track to go to for exercise.

Joelle:
Thanks, I like the Life Screening process. It provides relief in a lot of cases, like mine. I hate going to the doctor and paying so much for the heart screenings so it was great to get tested for PAD, and also have my arteries in my neck checked as well as checking abdominal arteries.
I noticed Lifeline Screening now offers complete the lipid panel screening, which detects high cholesterol as well as the high-sensitivity C-reactive protein screening. Those weren’t available when I had my tests.
I went to Trenton, Georgia time before last, when you were there and something was wrong with the diabetes testing equipment, or maybe they didn’t get the supplies there that went with it. I was disappointed and assume that was just a glitch and that now all tests are available at every visit into communities?
