I got this announcement by email and am posting it for folks who might be interested in connecting with the energy and teachings of Bruno Groening and who are in the Knoxville, Tennessee area. The Circle of Friends there meets regularly so even if the dates covered in this announcement are past, please contact Theresa if you wish to be informed of future community meetings in Knoxville.

Our next evening community group meeting will be on Tuesday, Jan. 22nd from 7:00 -8:30 p.m. at Margaret Lesch’s office, “In Good Hands” at:

5410 Homberg Drive, Suite 35 Knoxville, TN 37919 (865-588-3004).

As you know, we always meet every third week. However, due to some scheduling conflicts, we needed to adjust the community hour dates for January through May of 2008. So please print out or jot down the meeting dates. Of course, I’ll still send out reminders via e-mail.

The meeting dates for our Sunday group, led by Ed White at OASIS Institute, are also being adjusted. We will get the dates to you within a few days. We’ll also be setting dates for Introductions for new members. In addition, we’ll do our best to provide updated information on our local website.

We hope these changes will not inconvenience anyone. We feel extremely grateful for the use of the beautiful spaces at “In Good Hands” and OASIS and for the continued support of Margaret and Joel Lesch and Stephen and Susan Anthony.

I’m offering this retreat as much for myself as for anyone else
who might wish to shift their belief systems around losing weight
and getting fit. Since going into menopause, I’ve had more extra
weight than ever in my life and it is more stubborn to move but
I also realize that it’s harder for me now, in the menopausal years,
because I did not practice good habits in my youth.No diet will work, ever, if your inner thinking still wants you to be
overweight more than it wants you to be thin and fit so the place
to start for permanent weight loss is not with a diet but with your
internal dialogue with yourself, not just about food but about every
creative impulse in your life. Food sustains, food comforts, and food
can replace more vital impulses that we may be afraid to follow.

In my menopausal years, I’m a lot more concerned with fearless living
and living the convictions and passion of my heart and that’s what this
paradigm shift retreat will be about.

We’ll cover diet and nutrition, of course, and take good deep looks at
where that may need work but mainly, we will focus on identifying your
internal dialogue and belief systems around food and fitness and
discovering what your creative passions are and why you may not
be expressing them.

If your New Years Resolution is to lose weight then let me suggest modifying that resolution to read….I commit to finding my passion and having the courage to explore it; I commit to identifying my own patterns of self-sabotage, shifting my paradigm around food and fitness and releasing all thought patterns that do not support optimal health and wellness.

Join us for two very special weekends one in Palm Springs, CA. - Empowerment a class for healers and Working with Herbs in Sante Fe, NM taught by renown Curadera- Dõna Flordemayo. Flordemayo is a member of the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers. Our time together will be a rare treat and honor to work side by side and learn the indigenous healing techniques taught to her by her mother and the elders from her Nicaragua village. She works with spirit and the classes will vary depending on her guidance and participants. Her teaching method is story telling. At the intersection of Clairmont Road and North Druid Hills Road turn right onto Clairmont. Travel to the first red light and take a left and then an immediate left into the Williamsburg Professional Center. Drive past the first two sets of buildings and turn right into the next parking lot. The number of the building is 1989. You will see the Harmony Learning Center banner over the door.
