White Eagle, Visions and the Burning Bush

Except for any noted source material, content copyright, Neva. J. Howell, all rights reserved

I have walked a path of blended-tradition spirituality since I first started awakening to higher realms of consciousness in a metaphysical way, back in 1988. This Spirit Ask Question deals with experience that challenges our taught or learned ways of viewing Truth.

Question on Spirit: I bought a meditation cd from White Eagle and while litsening to it, I journeyed above a mountain with unfamiliar terrain and I watched as two men were carrying another from the foot of the mountain. The one being carried had snow white hair that was sticking out everywhere. All three were dressed in clothes that showed there legs and they were wearing sandals. As I journeyed above the mountain and looked down I saw a fire that was contained to one place and It was revealed to me that this was the burning bush. I have heard of the burning bush but have never been led to read about it or explore it in any way. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Healing Facilitation Response: One of the strongest knowings that has blossomed in me along my path of spiritual awakening was the sure knowledge that We Are All Related, or Mitakuye Oyasin. I know that part of the healing of the planet now, and in fact a large part, is the sharing of common experience across faith-lines and past boundaries of religion and creed.

I believe all truly Universal Spiritual stories, myths, visions, parables and preachings have common elements that transcend all the boundaries we have created that divide Truth. Your experience of The Burning Bush story in a way that was triggered by Native American frequencies is part of your path of integrating spiritual truth from two traditions.

And as each one of us takes our personal journey of integration, we also assist the planet as a whole to embrace other truth and truth in the beautiful costuming of other visionary paths.

Your experience reminds me of when I first saw Jesus hanging from the Sundance Tree. I was stunned, humbled and awed by this vision and realized that Jesus was telling me that the Native walk and path of prayer could be integrated with the Christian path without controversy or even struggle. It was so clear.

Attracted to Gemstones

What is the spiritual significance of a marked, new attraction to gemstones?
Except for any noted source material, content copyright, Neva. J. Howell, all rights reserved
Question: I am suddenly mesmorized by gemstones. When I see one I just stare at it and notice it and I am attracted and aware of it. Do you have any idea why I am having this attraction?

Healing Facilitation Response:

All stones are memory keepers. Crystals and other gemstones all have specific qualities besides so it might be good to go to a gemstone store and see if there are specific stones that attract you more than others. Then, learn about the qualities of those stones.

Crystals are very good for clearing energy and for meditation so maybe you are being guided to work with them in that way.

ps. This is a quick ask response. There are lots of reasons why people may be attracted to gemstones where they were not attracted before and more indepth guidance would require more information on the specifics.

Reiki and the Inner Child

What is The Healer’s Role When Working with Childhood Trauma and Healing the Inner Child
Except for any noted source material, content copyright, Neva. J. Howell, all rights reserved

Question on Healing:
“Can I try to reach the inner child of my client in order to help them? I always call on healing the inner child when I give reiki. I know some young people on drugs and I know that healing must begin from the inner child.”

Healing Facilitation Response:

Experience has taught me that it is usually non-progressive to try to do anything. I mean that rather literally. The moment my mind thinks….I’m going to…..I know I’m in trouble because I’ve decided the direction I think the session should go.

What is helpful to invite that type of healing session is to be certain you are in touch with your own inner child, that part of you that came in with such clear focus, awareness of mission, absence of programming and connection to source.

By making sure you’ve done your own work to consciously initiate re-connection with your own inner child, it naturally follows that your frequency and vibration would feel Safe and Sacred to anyone else needing to do that important work.

If you are able to provide Safe and Sacred Space to people, you are then in a position to invite inner child healing. An invitation is oh, so different than even a suggestion. It is an openess to a potential without any judgement or “push” on it.

This same open invitation energy is vital for any kind of partnership where you help to facilitate the healing work people want to do for themselves but it absolutely has to be there before that aspect of self that we call the inner child will make an appearance that leads to healing of any childhood traumas or distortions in the personality.

Manifesting Money for Spiritual Travels

What to do when your Spirit is urging a pilgrimage to India but your finances say you just can’t go.
Except for any noted source material, content copyright, Neva. J. Howell, all rights reserved

Spirited Statements:
I am a reiki master who is trying to improve her own spirituality, remove blockages etc. I still need to work more with my “children” lack and poverty. But I am doing so. Would like to visit India this year also. Lots of work to be done. Thanks again and DIVINE BLESSINGS!

Note from Neva:
This person didn’t really ask a question yet a response came so I shared it. And I’m sharing it here for others who might feel led to take a spiritual pilgrimage but also feel unable to do so because of money issues. Personally, I have felt led to meet Mother Meera and it isn’t money that stops me but the sheer idea of such a long and arduous trip. Yet, the same tips I’m giving for balancing money issues could also help me gear up for going to Germany one day.

Healing Facilitation Response:
I know all about those “twins” of yours. There is material on my website about healing poverty consciousness. In fact, I need to remind myself of that lesson again too.

One suggestion on India…..bringing yourself into resonance with what you want is a great way to increase that resonation in such a way as to draw the experience to you, I’d suggest:

1. Get some Indian chanting music and start listening to it all the time.
2. Ask to connect with Masters from India in your dreamtime.
3. Seek out others who have gone and let them tell you stories of their visits,
asking them to include as much detail as they can remember.
4. Get books on India with lots of clear, detailed pictures and gaze upon them before meditation and prayer.

Inexplicable Draw to Healing

Question on Healing: (some info removed to protect privacy)

When I was a senior in high school, I had my life figured out. I’ve never been very spiritual, but often I question my doubts. When I got into college and studying my field of choice, I quickly realized I was not interested. Two years have gone by since then, and I’ve let my life stagnate. I’ve become a total recluse, but and plagued by loneliness. I’m lazy, have poor hygiene, I’m out of shape, the list goes on. It certainly isn’t a high point on my time line.

For a while now, I’ve been trying to think of something I can do, something I can pursue with which I have a passion, something I may actually follow through with. It wasn’t until I was talking to my friend, whom had the pleasure of being healed before, told me of their experiences. Until then, I hadn’t even known things like that had existed.

All my life, I’ve had dreams of helping people (but in weird dream ways), and it has reflected in life. I’ve even been noted as having a “calming presence”, by a majority of my friends. As of late, I’ve been researching all I can about healers of any belief, attempting to find a place to start my learning.

My questions are these: I feel a definite, inexplicable draw to healing, but where do I start to learn about it? How do I determine what styles of healing are available, and figure out which is best for me?

I’m sorry this email is scattered, I am having a hard idea focusing my thoughts into questions I can express via email.

I thank you for you time, irregardless of the outcome.

Healing Facilitation Response:
I am not sure how to best assist you. I am concerned about the struggles you are having and wondering if the first step might be to find a healer to work with you, to help you heal yourself in areas where, by your own words, you are stagnate?

One of the best ways to learn about healing energies is to feel them. My suggestion would be to seek out a healing facilitator that you feel safe with and schedule some work with them for yourself. As part of your healing, and in the energetic field of the healing facilitator, you may also ask God to reveal your path in this work.

I also offer a free email course on healing and what it takes to work as a healing facilitator. You might find this of benefit. Just let me know if you’d like to receive it. It’s called The Healing Journey and free on request. Email to askme at askahealer . com

Question about the Eckancar
Except for any noted source material, content copyright, Neva. J. Howell, all rights reserved

Question on spiritual development:
Are you familiar with the Eckankar religion? If so what are your thouhts about it?

Spiritual Facilitation Response:

Yes, I’m familiar with Eckankar but never felt led to study it.

I don’t sense anything spiritually non-progressive about Eckankar; just not something I’m led to involve myself in.

If you want to know more about the Eckankar teachings, visit the official Eckankar Website

Followup on earlier post:
It occurred to me to comment on why a person does or does not follow a specific teaching or step onto a particular path of faith. There can be several reasons:

1. A person may have already integrated the teachings in other lifetimes or even intuitively in the current lifetime, and may have chosen to focus on other paths of faith this time around.

2. A person may not resonate with the teachings due to unhealed experiences in other lifetimes or because of conflicting belief systems.

3. A person may not be at the correct level of spiritual consciousness to embrace, integrate and understand the teachings.

I recognize that each soul draws to them the unique spiritual experiences and expression that best serve the evolution of that soul. Whatever path of faith is most in alignment with what a person most seeks to learn will resonate and be followed.

However, a soul can learn by moving toward understanding or by battling through misunderstanding, which explains why some people divert into paths of faith that are not as progressive as others. Again, not commenting on Eckankar, just paths of faith in general.

Whatever method a soul chooses to further their spiritual development, I believe in divine unfoldment so it is seldom my choice to endorse or condemn a path although I might issue warnings in certain cases.

Spiritual Significance of Bursitis

What is the Spiritual Message Behind Bursitis?

Spiritual Significance of Bursitis
well, at least my bursitis

I got a glimmer into the bursitis pain I’ve been dealing with for the past two weeks and see clearly that it has it’s origins in resentment as well. The first time I ever had it, I was feeling very resentful. I was driving home from a vacation trip and seemed to be bombarded by cigarette smoke everywhere we stopped. Convenience stores, restaurants, hotel rooms that were supposed to be non-smoking. The fact that my mom smokes and I could smell it strongly every time she got back in the car made it even worse. Add to this my fatique from driving for hours and a negative state of mind…..surely the formula for some kind of phsical manifestion.

I remember sitting in bumper to bumper traffic and then driving through pouring rain, and all the while, I leaned with my left elbow on the armrest on the door. It was not a cushioned armrest but hard plastic. I remember my elbow hurting but I was so exhausted and resentful and negative that I didn’t think to move it…..for hours.

That was the beginning. So I know the emotional root of it now. The next step was to look at why it has resurfaced again. What triggered a repeat of the bursitis?

Again, it appears that resentment is at the core of it. And, again, it is family-oriented. And, as I mentioned in the article After Sleeping On It, the fault is my own judgment of where I think my family ought to be, spiritually and emotionally and financially.

Is it a coincidence that the swelling is down this morning….is it the Traumeel finally kicking in, or the NSAIDS I took yesterday or is it partially due to my increased awareness?

I think all of the above.

When Miracles Become Mundane

Except for any noted source material, content copyright, Neva. J. Howell, all rights reserved

I was speaking with a woman about coming to my place for some spiritual retreat time and healing facilitation work. She mentioned that a friend of hers was very excited about the book, The Secret but that she didn’t think it was such a big deal and that it really didn’t have anything in it that she didn’t already know.

I immediately thought “She’s Jaded”.

Then, on the heels of that thought, “Where am I spiritually jaded?”

It’s not uncommon for me to zero in on the mental patterns and belief systems of people I work with as a healing facilitator. That’s spiritual discernment; divination by invitation. I’m in that evaluation and assessment mode by request.

However, when I catch myself, in the midst of a casual conversation, evaluating belief systems in someone who has not asked me to do so, that’s judgment and usually a reflection. I know it’s time to turn the critical eye to myself.

I’ve noticed, in my years as a facilitator of healing and transformation, that we will often notice with rapidity in others qualities that are hidden from us within ourselves. Pot calls kettle black.

It is hard for me not to get jaded. Probably is difficult for a lot of spiritually aware people, not just me. I have had such moments of miraculous, almost indescribable connection with Spirit that I think I unconsciously begin to resent the moments that are not that. I also become jaded. I no longer share the absolute wonder and awe of that person who experiences God in a miraculous way for the first time. I do this because I know the truth is that the moment they are in will not last.

It’s that old, old spiritual saying……

Before I was enlightened, I chopped wood and carried water.
And oh, guess what?
Yep.

It’s no different after enlightenment and I sometimes resent the wood and water thing.

Where am I jaded? Good question to sleep on tonight. I’m grateful to the person who held up that mirror for me to more clearly view myself.

Meditation in Spiritual Planes

Does evil exist in the spiritual plane?
Except for any noted source material, content copyright, Neva. J. Howell, all rights reserved

Question on Spiritual Development:I saw your web site somewhat by accident and felt the need to write to you. I have been contacted through meditation by an spirit or enlightenment. Since I have always been told that I have been chosen as a lucky gifted one I have never acknowledged the presence of the spiritual plane. Are you familiar with this plane of spirituality? I have been feeling very confused of late with regards to the nano moments that I feel this presence. Is it a good presence is there negative or evil presences too ? I understand and accept that my spiritual plane is expanding and in visiting with a spiritual physic I not sure ….

Do you have awareness of anything I am talking about. I am really not a goofy person actually my entire life has been very logical and practical until late.

Healing Facilitation Response:
I wasn’t exactly sure what you meant by “I have been contacted through meditation by an spirit of enlightenment”.

I am assuming you mean you have been contacted by a spirit you considered to
be enlightened while you were meditating. I believe it is our natural state to be able to access the higher planes of consciousness but that most of us have forgotten we have this gift so yes, if you remember, that would set you apart from folks who don’t remember how wonderful we all are.

I am not sure what you meant by “spiritual plane” either. There are various
levels of consciousness and awareness, vibrational frequencies, but I’m not
sure I am understanding your experience. If my comments don’t seem to resonate with you then I might need to know more about what happened in the meditation that led you to believe you had contacted an enlightened being and also, what leads you to believe there might also be negative or evil influences there.

In my spiritual awareness, the akashic records make everything available and it’s a matter of frequency what information we each tap into. Since there are events and thoughts and behaviors that would be called evil by most of us, those experiences are just as available as what we might consider positive experience.

Spiritual intent establishes result. If your intent is clear, the result will be also. Hope that helps. Until I get more input on what actually happened, I can’t really comment futher on your questions.

In my own experiences with meditation and spiritual ceremony, I’ve often felt fear nipping at my heels because I was going into the unknown. Sometimes, that even had the flavor of evil because fear has the flavor of evil but, as long as my intent was clear, it never manifested as an evil experience.
